With extensive experience in delivering products and services to power generators, P&B offers the renewables sector a range of products and services. Over the years of transition for the UK power industry from coal to greener fuel sources, P&B has extensively supplied circuit breakers retrofits as new plant was introduced. From the early days, P&B has been supplying switchgear for projects to convert from coal to biomass in existing UK power stations such as Drax, Ratcliffe and Ferrybridge. P&B has also supported Scottish Power by providing new circuit breakers to retrofit ageing English Electric circuit breakers and give the switchgear a new lease of life for Hydroelectric power stations in Scotland such as Tongland and Glenlee. In the Biogas arena, P&B has also supplied HV15 Switchgear as part of Welsh Water’s development for a new supply to power an advanced anaerobic digestion facility producing green energy from discarded food and garden waste in Cardiff.
